Most people who want real astrological guidance in Nigeria have exactly two options: find a practising astrologer and book a session, or read a generic horoscope written for four hundred million people who happen to share your sun sign. Neither one actually answers the question you're asking, which is usually some version of: what is happening in my life right now, and what do I do about it.
AstroDu was built to close that gap. Every reading is calculated from your own birth data — not a shared template — and interpreted through two frameworks at once: Western astrology, and the Yoruba/Ifa cosmological tradition that most of that same generic horoscope pretends doesn't exist. You get a chart that's actually yours, read in a way that makes sense whether you're Christian, Muslim, or something else entirely.
AstroDu is built and run by Iyanda, a practising astrologer based in Ibadan. There's no team behind the platform's day-to-day operation — every reading framework, every line of the interpretation engine, and every feature you use was built solo, largely from a phone, without outside funding or a development team. What started as a way to make one astrologer's practice available to more people has grown into a platform read by a growing community across Nigeria and the diaspora.
That solo, hands-on build is also why AstroDu moves the way it does — features ship because someone using the platform actually needed them, not because a product roadmap said so.

Faith-agnostic, culturally honest. AstroDu doesn't ask you to adopt a belief system to use it. The Ifa and ancestral material is offered as a framework for understanding, the same way the Western astrological material is — not as a religious requirement. Many AstroDu users are devout Christians and Muslims who simply want a fuller picture.
