Orunmila — also called Ifa — is the Orisha of wisdom, divination, and destiny. He is the one who was present at the moment Olodumare allocated the destiny of every soul that would ever be born. This means Orunmila knows your path — the original path you chose before birth, the deviations you have made, and the route back to alignment. He is the witness to all human destiny.
It is through Orunmila that the Ifa divination system was given to humanity. He is the source of the 256 Odu — the sacred verses that contain all human knowledge, all circumstances, all blessings and challenges.
