Something important begins in the sky on October 3.

Venus turns retrograde.

And before you reduce this to “your ex is coming back,” understand that Venus has a much bigger job than romance.

Venus speaks about what we value.

Relationships.

Attraction.

Comfort.

Pleasure.

Beauty.

The things we are willing to spend money on.

The people we consider worth keeping.

And, perhaps most importantly, the price we place on ourselves.

So when Venus appears to move backwards, these matters tend to enter a period of review.

Something you thought you wanted may suddenly stop looking attractive.
